Although the location was out of town, the hotel was near the tube and quiet.

The rooms seemed to be recently refurbished and of a good size.

Window was broken but didn't significantly detract from the experience.

Being a novotel wasn't huge on character and location in business district was predictably soul-less but overall was a very reasonable experience and quick into Lisbon and not far from the airport.

Very good location if you don't insist that city centre needs to be within walking distance. From the centre it takes ca. 10 minutes with underground+another 5 mins. pleasant walk (from station Praca de Espanha). Good connection with airport (airport shuttle - cost EUR 3,-) just opposite to the hotel.

Nicely designed/decorated (well, standard Novotel) large rooms, great bathrooms, breakfast cost EUR 10, but you can have yours all around Lisbon in cafés and pastry shops with excellent espresso...

Large rooms, very contemporary. It is a 5-10 min walk to closest subway, but then very short distance via subway into heart of Lisbon. Great decor, good value, good pool area, too bad it was cold when I was there. The do struggle to pull off the breakfast in the morning, but overall not a bad deal. They could do better coffee and the eggs / sausage / bacon is by far not the best. Slow to replenish items that they run out of. When I return to Lisbon, I will most definitely check out this hotel again as my first choice. Recommended!

There is not much to say against this hotel, perhaps with the exception of its location and charm. It is just a large hotel in the middle of a couple of others.

The room I was staying in (alone) was large, but not quite large enough to be used as a family room. The couch could be converted in a bed, allowing four people to share it, but you will find it cramped then. Anyway, it was clean, the bed was good, and the climate in the room was not dry or warm. The outside noise was reasonably damped.

The breakfast and lunch I took at the hotel were both very good (except for the coffee they served during breakfast), in particular given their price.

So, if you don't require any special charms, this hotel won't disappoint you, in particular given what you pay for it.
