Arrived at the Holiday inn in Lisbon and were happy to find that were were upgraded to a suite as I am a frequent guest of the Intercontinental Hotels group. Room was on the 9th floor. We were taken to our room which had a large living room with sofas and TV and desk, which then led into the bedroom which had a large king size double bed in it with another TV and fridge, dressing table and table and chairs for two. Bed was very hard, so if you don't like a hard bed, then you might find it uncomfortable. Along the hall was a large bathroom with double sink and shower over the bath. Shower pressure was very good indeed. Hotel has a small plunge pool on the roof with around 10 sun beds. they are very uncomfortable as they have no padding so after an hour we were moving around on the bed trying to get comfy. All in all an OK stay but didn't really feel the hotel lived up to the price we paid. Plenty of places around the hotel for coffee and a pastry if you don't want to pay the breakfast price at the Hotel. 12.5 Euros each for what was in my opinion very basic fare.
