internet service turns out to be 20 euros per day, and is only good for one computer. A can of coke from the minibar costs 4.15 euros. A bit of distance from main attractions.

The Hotel is ok, room are pretty clean with air conditioned and breakfast is ok. As a 4 star hotel and after reading some reviews of I expected more... The location is not ideal. The closest metro station is Alamaida down the hill, 15 min walking distance from the hotel, after the first day you'll hate that hill you have to "climb" when back from the centre. I suggest an hotel in Baxia close to all amenities is much better. Hotel staff are very friendly and open to give any suggestions.
Buy the tourist ticket, it costs €4 and you can travel on metro, elevadores, bus, electrics unlimited times.
As a good place for listening the traditional portugues Fado I suggest Cafe Luso although it is a bit expensive, food and music are great.

Stayed here on business travel as they are on our corporate list. The hotel is focused on Tourists and is not a good business travel hotel.

Business traveler issues:
- there is no phone on the desk, therefore you have to take calls sitting on the bed (it was this way in both rooms I was in, so it is consistent across the hotel)
- however there is no plug near the bed, so you have to run your laptop off the battery and recharge periodically
- internet access is 20euros PER DAY and you have to go down to the front desk to buy a pass to get it

General hotel issues
I had to change rooms after the first day because
- the rooms on the front of the hotel face a very noisy road. if you are a light sleeper beware.
- the bathroom developed a sewage smell during the night

The rooms were clean and fairly large for Europe so if you are a tourist looking for a cheap hotel kinda near the airport (10euros cab ride) it might be great, but if you are a business traveler I recommend thinking twice. I will not be back.

Stayed here for a few days prior to a cruise departing from Lisbon. The location of the hotel is far from the major tourist sites, however there were a couple of subway locations about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We were able to get around the city easily by subway. We were upgraded to a Suite based on our ambasador/platinum status with the hotel chain's frequent guest program, priority club. The suite was of a good size and the accommodations nice and clean. The bathroom was of a good size. The shower's water pressure was wonderful. I didn't find the hotel staff friendly or welcoming. However I am not sure whether that was just the natural demeanor of lisboans in general. We would probably stay at this property again if we find ourselves in Lisbon again. However I do not recommend it for persons who plan to get around by taxi or would have difficulty walking the distance to the subways. Don't eat at the hotel, we found the price of meals to be rather expensive at the hotel. There are some nice looking cafe's and restaurants in a the building across the street and there was a supermarket relatively close by.
