Great hotel, excellent standard. Great to have a pool in a city hotel - a real bonus.
Downsides - a good 10 minute walk to nearest tube which is uphill on the return journey. Then a 10 minute tube ride to the centre of Lisbon. Surrounded by busy dual carraigeways. We stayed for 5 days last week and had planned three days around the city and two at the pool. Unfortunately the weather was cold and cloudy so the pool was out. We had a free 7 day 'Colinas' travel card with our booking which entitled us to free tube and bus travel. This was great but the distance to the tube makes the hotel location tiring for daily travel over anything over a coupie of days. Also only a few basic bars nearby - need to travel into Lisbon - would be nice to have been able to walk to good bars and restaurants.
Overall great hotel (although drinks and meals pricey) but pool only a bonus if you have the weather.
Go in the summer and make the most of the pool. Probably best avoided out of season.
Great helpfull friendly staff as well.
