The rooms in this hotel are nice (decor and facilities a bit dated, but clean), but the staff weren't always helpful. In particular, the staff on the reception had a bit of an attitude.
There was some construction work going on in the hotel next door and we weren't able to use the pool. We weren't told this in advance or on check in and only found this out when we asked for chairs to sit outside. They weren't particularly apologetic about this and the attitude was more - not our fault gov!
The beach in front of the hotel is not very clean and to use the 5 star Divani hotel opposite you get charged 45 euros per day!. So there is no real alternative to the pool.
The bar stayed open in the evenings, but quite often the barman was not behind the bar.
There are some nice tavernas on the beach to eat, there is free internet access in the foyer and the staff did help in booking a taxi to the airport, but overall not a fabulous hotel.

Stayed at the Amarilia hotel in Vouliagmeni at the end of an extended trip to Greece. We wanted a hotel that was accessible to the airport but not in Athens. The hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the airport and the route to the airport from the area of the hotel is extremely well marked. We were driving a rental car, and the Amarilia reserves parking in spaces in front of the hotel for guests. Rooms at the Amarilia were spacious and pleasant. Ours had a view of the sea. The hotel is one block back from the beach -- there is a small church in front of the hotel. There are several good fish tavernas on the beach in front of the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, although the night staff was slow to deal with a loud party in a neighboring room (at 4 am). The breakfast buffet was ample and good. If you plan to drive to the hotel, be sure to get good directions, especially if you are not traveling along the coast.
This hotel looks great on the website but some of the photos are misleading. There is a poor view of the sea across wasteland from the third floor. From 26th May to 31st May and certainly for two weeks beforehand, the swimming pool, which looks so inviting in the photos, was out of use for repairs but all this time there was no work going on - before booking I would check if the pool is working if this is important to you and dont accept any assurance that "it will be ready by the time you get here", as was the case with our Greek agent. We were given no help at all, or apologies, about the lack of a pool, and the hotel had made no arrangements in compensation. In the end we had to pay €35 to €45 per person per day to use the beautiful pools in the hotel opposite - the Divani Apollon. Although the sea is only 50 metres away, the beach is very narrow, very crowded at weekends and somewhat dirty with cigarette butts and other flotsom/jetsom.
Breakfast was of a very low standard. The fruit juice must have been diluted very heavily from a packet, the coffee came ready made from a machine and bore no resemblence to anything drinkable. The only fruit, apart from an apple, was tinned peaches and apricots. The only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon which was cooked in advance and left on a hot plate.
Our room 307 had the shaver socket falling out of the wall above the washbasin in the bathroom, the fridge did not work, the ceiling light above the wardrobe was just cut off wires and the sheets on the single bed were not large enough to tuck in. When I asked the maid for more soap she could not find any so I resorted to taking some from an unoccupied room nearby.
When all these points were mentioned to reception there was a distinct lack of interest and no suggestion of compensation for the lack of the pool which had been the main attraction of staying in the hotel while my husband was at a conference.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
