We stayed here for three nights during our trip to Greece. Our first night we slept with the Air Conditioner off because it started dripping when we turned it on. We told the receptionist about this first thing in the morning, and she told us that they'd call someone to get it fixed. When we got back that afternoon, we asked if it had been fixed, and they said that he was still supposed to come, but if he couldn't fix it they'd give us a new room. After returning from dinner we were chastised for not telling the receptionist that it hadn't been fixed, and were then told we needed to switch rooms for the night, which was a hassle as we were just stopping in before leaving for a show, and she made it seem that we needed to move all of our stuff out then so she could switch our room.
The next day, we are trying to rush off to see the various athens attractions (which all now close at 3 rather than 8), and she tells us that we have to switch back to our old room, because they had a family that had reserved the room they had put us in. They had not told us at all that they were planning to put us back in our original room, or that we could have had access to both rooms and not had to move all of our stuff back and forth between the first and fourth floors, which was somewhat difficult given their small elevator and steep staircase.
The location is great though, with close access to the acropolis and other sites, but not in a "touristy area," but still close to some restaurants and such. Also, be aware that if you reserve a double bed, you will just get two twins pushed next to each other.
