This Hotel is in the perfect position to see everything in Athens almost everything is within walking distance, and if you cant be bothered to walk the metro is 2mins away in Syntagma square as well as the Tram and the bus station. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasnt spectacular just a general variety of cereals, bread, jam etc... The room was a good size and was very clean, However the shower was very small! The hotel has 2 lifts which again were on the small side and quite slow.
Overall the hotel was the perfect place to explore from, easy to find, clean, modern and all the staff were polite and friendly

The Amazon is a great basic hotel just off Syntagma Square and handy for the metro, trams and the airport bus x95. You can easily explore Plaka, it is only 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is clean and tidy and my room was a good size with air con that worked. The staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English. Buffet breakfast was well stocked with the usual stuff. I would go back.

What a great hotel in the centre of Athens. Good area, good rooms, good breakfast. Would stay again.
And, to make matters better, the famous Glasgow Rangers won in the UEFA Cup.

Spent a week in Athens in July. The Amazon Hotel is a small tourist hotel in the Plaka district. It is clean, well managed, and centrally located. The room was small, but comfortable. There is a decent continental breakfast included in the price. The staff is businesslike and courteous. This is a good choice if you want a clean, reasonably priced hotel in the center of everything.
