I agree with the other reviewers in general. The location is absolutely ideal and the price reasonable. The hotel's street is lined with trendy bars and restaurants - good to take a stroll down after the archaeological sites, shops, and museums close. Shortly after exiting the hotel, which sits on a hill, you are greeted with a wonderful view directly on the Acropolis.
If you are at all a light sleeper, try to avoid rooms facing the street, as nightlife is quite boisterous and loud pedestrians roam the streets until 3am on a typical night. We had to change rooms after the first night. Room deco is very hit or miss. Our first room was very gaudy, but our second one had been updated, and I found it to be tasteful. Breakfast is nothing special, and the "orange juice" was a bit odd, more like Koolaid with extra water.
We were overall very happy with our room though. Hotel staff were very friendly. We considered location to be one of the most important criteria when staying in Athens, and in retrospect, we are glad that we did.
