We stayed at Ochre and Brown just one night as we were returning from Santorini and flying out of Athens the next day. We found the hotel to be a very nicely appointed, small hotel. While the outside neighborhood is, perhaps, not the place to be walking late at night, by oneself, inside the hotel is not a bad place to spend the night. The bathrooms are quite nice -- the shower stalls are spacious (but a bit leaky), the Moulton Brown cosmetics were a hit with my wife, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was easy to make work and free; breakfast was included in our rate and generously portioned. The service at the hotel was doting -- champagne came soon after check-in, they waited until we arrived (past-midnight), and offered maps and suggestions to late night dining. The room rate was a bit steep for what you got. On balance, Ochre and Brown is a nice hotel. Not nearly the most luxurious place you could stay in Athens (check the Grande Bretagne), but likely one of the quainter and nicer ones.
