This hotel looks fab on the website and to be fair the pool is great and the place, on the whole is spotless. I enjoyed lying around not doing much for a week but if you're looking for more you'll be disappointed. I went on the all inclusive option which I've never done before but from others comments this hotel came up pretty poorly by AI standards. Evening entertainment happens once a week and that was laughable - 2 Greek dancers in a cleared patio area in the dark! The drinks for AI are all served in white plastic cups - even in the evening - so you're singled out, as the other (mostly card playing europeans) sup their fancy cocktails from real glasses! As for the drinks - the 2 spirits on offer (yes - only 2!) were ouzo and a weird cooking brandy. The AI cocktails consisted of cheap spirits topped up with a disastrous number of fruit juices that tasted dreadful. Food is ok but the same thing every day and some reheated stuff - and nothing available on AI after 9.30pm. If you have children (or if you're an ice cream lover) be aware that it's only available at certain times of the day and only 2 scoops per person! For those looking for a fun packed holiday this probably isn't the place for you (we got told off for laughing at midnight). The extras, that other guests said are normally included in AI, are only available at a price e.g. €7 for 10 minutes in the pool jacuzzi. The surrounding area is very very quiet and the nearest holiday town of Platanias is 15 minutes away (€1 by bus / €10 by cab). A lot of people were allocated the wrong rooms. We seemed to be lucky on that score as ours was fine but check with your travel agent as those booking 2 rooms (in groups of 4) were allocated rooms in the 3* hotel as opposed to the 4* village. Having paid for 2 rooms in the village they were then asked to stump up €5 per night for air con. When eventually moved (after 4 days) they were all put in 1 room using camp beds. On departure day if you want a room after midday it will cost you €5 per hour (regardless of when you first arrived). This hotel has the capacity to be really good and I had a restful week there, but if you're looking for any kind of included entertainment - day or night - you'll have to make your own!
