I have never dined in a hotel as bad as this one. This was Ai ,I had first thought that my taste buds had gone haywire but it had, for my opinion used the most cheapest possible meat, ingredients and whatever else you need to make a meal successful . Breakfast, lunch and dinner are not to be at all recommended in this hotel. This hotel was very stingy in all ways for all inclusive. Example if you wanted the good ice cream
(in the bar) it was available between 10.00-12.00 and 16.00-18.00 hrs. At any other time you had to pay for it. The bad ice cream (in the restaurant) tasted like perfumed sawdust. The coffee was brought in plastic pitchers and poured into metal coffee cans like the ones you had in the Army mess halls. Now if you wanted a coffee at the bar from their espresso maschine you paid. If you wanted a drink they had over 60 bottles of different types of liquor, alcohol etc. BUT you paid!!! They did of course have 5 pre-mixed cocktails which were available between the hours of 1800-2300. Beer of course FREE but only one tap and it had Paulaner on it but tasted like something else. If you wanted a beer lets say from Holland(Called Amstell) and it is produced under licence in Greece you guessed right YOU PAID. Lets go outside to the pool, beautiful, but if you do not want to sit on the grass get up at approximately 0700hrs and put your towel or even your underpants will do on a lounge chair so that when you want to use it later you will have one. I counted 58 lounge chairs and approx.30 sun umbrellas. A couple of days before I had left (I couldn´t wait) they had purchased about 15 lounge ch. and 10 sun umbrell. It still wasn´t enough thou. On the website which proclaims the beauty of the area, to the East approx. 200 meters a couple of hotels are being built, they´re still in the raw beginning. 50 mtrs.
to the East from the hotel a farmer has approx. 30 sheep, nice animals. If you go to the North you have a beach as bare as the small boulders you have to lay on. I almost forgot if you happen to have a complaint and you go to the female manager she can be most unfriendly. So all in all if you plan to go to this hotel throw your money out the window before and eat on the economy.

We stayed at the Chrispy village from the first week on june 2007 for a week. We looked at the reviews on the internet and though oh my god what have we done. Anyway on arrival we were greeted by the security guy(it was 4am), he checked us in etc then showed us to our room. It was quite spacious very clean and tidy. They had even put us some food in the fridge as we were getting there late. Next morning we went for a look around the site, swimming pool was very clean although be careful going down the sloping entry point as its very slippy.Had a look at the bar, to them all inclusive drinks means... 1 self service lager, ouzo, brandy 4 alcoholic cocktails and 5 assorted soft drinks. Which was ok really. Anything else and you have to pay for it. The food was in general very good although there were a few repetitions from time to time but no big problem. You will find that the foods arent labled so you may have a little bit of confusion as to which is which, but just ask the staff and they will help you. In the daytime there is a sandwich bar so if you feel peckish help yourself. The gym consists of 1 exercise bike, 1 treadmill and a weight bench, it isnt supervised so again be careful. After 11pm the all inclusive bar finishes and you will have to pay for everything then, the barman is very strict about this and i overheard a few arguments going on. They have a computer with internet access for 4euros an hour, but it does seem to crash quite often. We checked out at lunchtime on the last day and was expecting to have to pay for drinks, food etc. We neednt have worried because we werent asked for the wristbands back so we just carried on as normal. We would go back to this hotel again as the place is very clean and tidy, most of the staff are friendly and helpful. There arent many english people there though so be ready to hear a few germans muttering. So enjoy your holiday and forget about the rubbish reviews. We thought it was germans trying to put us brits off going. The Snowden Family

“Loved chrispy village”

Chrispy Village

Sparkling clean, food good quality and quantity could have been a little more varied though. Swimming pool great, rooms great. Location perfect to get away from it all, (set amidst small holdings) off the beaten track, good bus service to lively resort if needed. Beach only short stroll away, lovely and quiet, not suitable for guests seeking sporting activities. speaking of which the gym er well, just go for a power walk on the beach if you feel the need for exercise !
I would go back, it was value for money and very relaxing.

the chrispy is set in a nice quiet location.we spent the first afternoon watching the sunset with the swallows swooping to the fabulous pool for a drink, paradise we thought.then we went
to the buffet restaurant.although there was a good selection
of salads etc,the main dishes were diabolical eg,lukewarm soup
and some meat dishes that we coudn,t name .but dont worry
if you left it at lunch, it would be rehashed with a bit of corn
or carrots at dinner and rechristened.the all inclusive beer
tasted like it had gone through the digestive system of a
sheep.thank god for platanias 15 minutes away by bus.
