We booked this hotel based on the reviews on this page and we were not disappointed. We loved Chania and this hotel made our stay perfect. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much and they gave great restaurant recommendations. One of the best things about this place is how close it is to everything. If you are going to Chania book this place, you will not be disappointed.
We have stayed in 4/5 stars hotel in Europe but if we will be returning to Chania we will stay at this little diamond.

We stayed 5 nights at the Casa Leone We've never stayed at a better boutique hotel, anywhere.It is a beautiful, small hotel in the centre of Old Venetian Harbour of Chania. We were given the very warmest of welcomes and were looked after during our stay as though we were friends rather than guests. The hotel has 5 guest rooms and our lovely room was at the top of the house: the "Private"It was just beautiful
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We had our own terrace with comfortable furniture where we could relax and enjoy the afternoon sun overlooking, the harbour.Breakfast was very substantial indeed with a variety of freshly home made breads and cakes, fresh fruit and juice, cheeses, as well as the usual cooked meats etc. Antonia was happy to serve breakfast for us early on the day
The hotel is in a perfect location with shops, cafes and restaurants on its doorstep and only a few minutes to the harbour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It was one of our most romantic times.

Wow! What a fantastic place,all the reviews are right on.We stayed at the Casa Leone for 1 week in July.It is a beautiful Venetian building.We stayed in the garden view junior suite and we loved it! Very clean,comfortable and cozy.The face of the hotel has amazing view at the Venetian port which is one of the best location in Crete.Breakfast and service was excellent!!Antonia the recepionist always charming and nice.
I would recommed the hotel to anyone travelling in Chania!!

We had left our hotel search until late, and were just grateful to find any room in busy sunny July. So we were thrilled to discover upon our arrival a stunningly beautiful room overlooking the harbor in Chania. The staff was warm and well-informed. The room was lovely, spotless, spacious, one-of-a-kind, with curved doorways, bed curtains, French doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs. Air-conditioning there, but almost unnecessary in the no-humidity summer weather. Breakfast included was fresh fruit, thick Greek yogurt, thyme-flavored honey, juice, coffee, breads, and pastries in a high-ceilinged, light-filled area, also overlooking the harbor. We cannot wait to go back, and friends who stayed at a highly touted place nearby were very envious of our good luck in finding Casa Leone.
