I was a bit nervous about staying here since it had no reviews, but I was behind in securing this night's lodging so I decided to try the hotel.
The hotel is at the top of the hill between Chania and airport. This is a bad location if you want to be near the town, but is a great locaiton if you have an early flight the next day. The airport is about 10 KMs away.
We left too early to eat breakfast here and didn't want to try dinner. My only major complaint is that there is next to nothing out here open in April. We had to drive quite a distance towards town to find a place to eat. If you do not have a car, don't bother with this place. With a car, it is fine.
The hotel's website has lousy directions and no real map. Just drive out of Chania towards the airport. At the top of the steep hill it will be on your right behind a bunch of trees and bushes. If you see signs for the local military Officer's Club, you missed it.
The rooms were large and clean. The hotel looks like it has a nice pool when it is open.
I would not recommend a long stay here for most people coming to Chania. It doesn't have much character is too far from town. But for an overnight on your way in or off of Crete via the Chania airport, this is a great place.
