My wife and I arrived with 2 friends at the hotel, late in the evening. Cold plate dinner was waiting for us and staff proved to be very friendly from the start. This did not change throughout our holliday.
Rooms: Spacious enough, balcony or terrace, no real view to the sea (the hotel is in its own like a closed resort 20m from the sea, separated from it by a road that is mostly empty because it ends 50m away from the hotel - so almost no traffic). TV, Airco, fridge, bathtub, towels. Soap+shampoo stuff were renewed only after exhaustion. Rooms vacuumed and sheets changed only on request. The sewage system did not allow toilet-paper disposal - must used separate trash can.
Restaurant: All you can eat buffet, german-french cooking with some greek specialties. Good food overall and plenty of choice. Drinks included the usual beer, wine, juices. Very handy to have an All-Inclusive.
Inside: 1 large pool with salty water, 1 medium with normal pool water and 2 small ones for children. 2 Bars for snacks (mini-pizza and fries) and drinks. Nice layout of the hotel with enough green and well tendered. In the evening, the usual theme nights: children disco, games, contests, Cretan night, etc.
Outside: Wide sand beach, shallow waters for about 30m, no stones. The hotel is at the moment the last one in the area, no building sites around, only jets disturb the silence sometimes, but not annoying.
It is for sure not a 4 star hotel (furniture+details lack the glamour) but the service is and if you look for a relaxing time in
the sun, it is highly recommendable for a care-free holliday.
The only downside is that for night life or tavernas you have to walk 30min or drive to the village nearby, or check out other neighbouring hotels that include a night club.
Also, if you want some medicine or special things not found in the hotel supermarket (which was not expensive at all compared to the average Crete prices in the villages or cities visited), you will have to ask the reception staff and they will either bring it for you within few hours or lend you a bike to get it yourself from the nearby village...
