We have just had a lovely holiday at the Corfos Bay Hotel. The property oozes peace, charm and tranquility, just 2k away from the hotspots of Mykonos Town. The rooms are beautifully decorated with panache. Ours had lovely little extra touches like feathers, fairy lights, fresh flowers and beautiful stonework in the flooring and we were upgraded from a double to a suite on arrival! Our suite had a light, airy, contemporary feel with french doors that opened onto a lovely little wooden deck with table and chairs overlooking the fabulous pool. The pool and pool area were spotlessly clean and the breakfast/bar area and other public areas were welcoming and decorated beautifully. We loved the chilled music playing in the mornings at breakfast and found all the staff to be attentive and helpful at all times.
This hotel had the best of both worlds, a peaceful pool area with a chilled out feel and all only a five minute walk from lovely Ornos Beach, plusa short taxi ride from the vibe of Mykonos Town - what more could anyone want! Great place - we'll definately be back

I cannot enthuse about this hotel enough - such a beautiful place to stay. The rooms and suites are all airy and roomy with kitchenette (no pots or pans) which is perfect if you want to prepare the odd snack. The decor is stunning and the rooms were kept impeccably clean by a team of hard working cleaners! All the other hotel facilities are great, with two swimmings pools, a poolside bar (not open in low season) and a lovely little bar/restaurant which serves delicious breads and cakes for breakfast.

The location is great too (although it may not seem so on arrival!), a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Ornos beach which has some lovely restaurants and tavernas lining it, a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and bus stop. Buses depart every hour into the main part of Mykonos and only take about 5 minutes to get there - perfect!

The thing that makes this hotel even better is the staff - so gracious and helpful and a delight to deal with. Nothing is ever a problem.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Corfos Bay Resort in May 2007. We had booked a junior suite, but when we arrived we got a 2-floor Deluxe Suite, as they had run out of junior suites. The suite had a living room, small kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, and a bedroom and another bathroom on the first floor. Everything was white, the rooms nicely decorated, with some attention to detail, but not by any mean really luxurious - and the cables protruding from some walls, the missing towel rack in the bathroom, the TV remote which didn't change the channels, and the almost inexistent soundproofing, were just a bit of a disappointment in an otherwise nice resort.
The hotel is located in Ornos, 5mn walk to a very nice beach, and 5mn drive to Mykonos town. The swimming pool at the resort was very nice, with salty water, and never crowded. The owners and staff were very helpful, which helped to make the stay better.
As a last comment, the breakfast was a bit weak, mostly in what relates to bread - many cakes and sweets, but just 2 types of sliced bread, no rolls or croissants available.

I am a travel agent and booked the Corfos Bay Resort for my trip to Greece with my husband during May 2007. Upon arrival, we were initially dismayed at how far it seemed from town. However, we quickly changed our minds once we checked into our beautiful, spacious room with its lovely decor. We had a kitchenette (no pots or pans), a separate sitting area, a patio facing the pool, a king bed (two twins together...no problems there), and a spacious bathroom. The service was impeccable; the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I asked for a hairdryer and was given one immediately (I think it was actually the clerk's personal dryer!), we were brought delicious cold cappuccinos upon arrival, and any requests we made were fulfilled immediately. The breakfast was good (breads, cakes, coffee & tea) but we missed the Greek yogurt that seemed to be served everywhere else. The hotel is a good walk from Choros (the main town) on a not very scenic road, but the cab ride is about 5 euro. Our favorite aspect of Corfos Bay Resort was its proximity to gorgeous Ornos Beach: a 5-minute walk away. The resort itself is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. If I were to go back to Mykonos, I would very likely stay here again.
