3 single girls looking for a fab hotel which is cheap and cheerful. Alexandros lived up to our expectations. Sifnos is a small island and there are only 2 ferries a week there. There is only 1 bus and about 5 taxis which make getting around difficult so hiring a car is the best thing to do and only costs 30 euros a day or a scooter for 10. Alexandros is in a really quite beach town part of the island. It has a great outdoor bar and pool and the rooms are clean and good value. Breakfast is served outside and is excellent with fresh greek produce. Alex was one of the sons of the owner as far as we could gather and he was always so kind and helpful.
for dinner we ate at a restaurant called to eteki which had no menus just home made mummas cooking which was cheap and delicious.
