I stayed at Verina Suites last summer early June. I have to confess that even if the island was not full of people(tourists), i had a great time staying at Verina Suites. The guys at the hotel offered me excellent breakfast (eggs, french croissants, fresh orange juice, fruits) near the pool in the morning and at night the barman made superb cocktails. The beach is very close to the hotel (2 minutes on foot). The room was clean, big compared to other hotels in Cyclades islands. It was the first time that I visited the island. The receptionist informed me about local shops and restaurants (visit the one at Apollonia, named Odos Oniron) and about the schedules of the ferries. Have in mind that there is no bank at Platys Gialos...remember to withdraw money from Bank at Apollonia Village.
If you plna visiting Sifnos, go and stay at Verina Suites! Trust me...you pay what you are offered!!!
