June 2007 we spent 5 nights in this nice apartement complex.
It is situated in a quiet location in Faros, just a minute walk away from the supermarket and restaurants (just a walk down the stairs).
We actually booked a stay in The Lighthouse but it was so windy there, that one couldn't sit outside normally. So we took our bags and just knocked on some doors in Faros and found Villa Maria.
It has a wonderful garden and a beautiful view of the sea and the little village. Our room had 3 (good!) beds, a fully equipped kitchen, phone, TV, airco and shower. It was clean and it had a superb porche, where sitting and relaxing was so good, it sometimes kept us from going to visit the beaches or the sites.
In the evening there is a jasmine smell all over the place!
Rates were acceptable (45 euro/night), but for June not that cheap.
Some things could use a little updating though, like the interior and the paint in some places. We had room 3 (according to their own website) and it was charming. Only problem was the ceiling, it was about 2.05 meter high. But everything works and looks more than OK.
The tavernas in the area are very good so you won't even have to leave this peacefull little place. But if you do want more action: Apollonia is only a 10 minute drive away.
