We spent two nights here and will spend one more after our cruise. They have an airport shuttle. To get the shuttle, one goes to the information desk in the arrivals hall and punches a code into the keypad. The shuttle will pick you up in front of Terminal 2. The hotel is minutes from the airport but not in the flight path. It is very customer service oriented. Check in is fast. The concierge service is great. They are prepared to provide information about anything in the area. Security is good. You need a room key to use the elevator from the lobby. The rooms are quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The bed is great. Unlike many European hotels, there is no shortage of power outlets. The hotel is a quick walk to the Orestadt station where you can catch the train or the Metro. Both run 24 hours and it takes about ten minutes to get into the city center. There are only two minor negatives. The bathtub is narrow with a steep sloping back. It is adequate but does not provide the space Americans are used to. The other is that there is instant coffee in the room instead of a coffee maker that brews. These are minor distractions and would not keep us from enthusiastically staying here again.

I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Copenhagen on numerous occasions. The staff is always very helpful. The location is very convenient as there is a Metro stop just up the street, so it's easy to get downtown. They have a shuttle from the airport, which is free. The rooms are of good size (which is hard to find in many European cities). The internet is free and reliable. They have a small gym where you can get a decent workout, but they also give you access to a fitness.dk just up the road (in a mall called Fields). The restaurant is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected. I've stayed at many hotels in and around Copenhagen, and the Crowne Plaza stands out as superior.

Room tip: Higher floors afford a better view

First of all this hotel is out of central Copenhagen if that matters to you. I chose it because it had good reviews and seemed better value than some more central places. The rooms were clean and modern and the bed was possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The location really isn't a problem as there is a free shuttle to and from the airport and the metro station is a couple of minutes walk away. The metro is cheap, clean and safe and a great way to get around, it's only 10 minutes to the city centre. We went to a concert and came back to the hotel after midnight and felt perfectly safe in the area. Opposite the metro is a large mall with various places to eat and a supermarket which was handy if you hadn't eaten in the city centre or didn't fancy the hotel restaurant.

The hotel is quite nice, fresh and looks very modern... actually a bit too modern for me! (kind of tasteless...) . The room I had is relatively large and is equipped with an iron.
The shuttle service works well, although Booking.com did not specified it stops at 23:00 (so I had to take a taxi).
Next time I need to stay around CPH airport, I'll probably look again at the Hilton, figure out it's completely over-priced again, and go back to Crowne Plaza.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza on business booked by the company I was visiting so got a good room rate (DK 1,045) and it was convenient for the Airport. It is roughly equidistant from Centre of City and Airport (8-10km) off the E20 motorway so a 5-10 min taxi (~DK 100), free Airport Shuttle or 100 metres from the Oerestad Metro station. As name suggests it’s a 25 floor tower block not much to look at from the outside but it has a very impressive and spacious lobby area. The area it is located in is part industrial, part empty building plots a bit desolate and wind swept so nothing to walk out and see apart from subway station. Rooms are spacious and ultra modern with nice bathroom, free wifi, large comfortable bed, safe, ironing board, tea/coffee making, bathrobe and well stocked mini bar. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Hotel has a fitness centre and golf course. Only minor gripes are glass shower door is not very wide so if you are not careful you soak the floor and the wiring of the extension lead to the toaster in the Storm restaurant was clearly not good - pointed out to staff but was told it just need taping up and they just pushed it out of sight! Recommend for business but not for sightseeing.

Room tip: Probably best to get a higher level room to get views over countryside - lifts are fast.
