Only after my last visit to this run-down hotel, did I decide to check the critic of previous guests. I tend to agree with their negative claims. My husband and I stayed there two years ago and the hotel was still acceptable at that time. Upon our visit in April '08, I was so shocked at its current state that I asked the reception if the hotel ownership changed in between time. The answer was "Yes." My impression is that the new ownership has no concern for its guests' comfort. It's not the fault of the staff, there are just not enough of employees: No one to clean tables and floors, straighten up things or even check if the flowers have any water in their vases. The hotel is dirty. The breakfast buffet used to be a real highlight with fresh smoked lachs, danish pastry and other tasty delights. Now it is limited to very basic items. But what's new is that there's a dinner buffet offered. That is, if one likes cheese, bread, sliced tomatoes, cut cucumbers and the like. I watched the people opening the lid of the warm food dish and the look on their faces told it all. I didn't recognize it to be anything edible. This is very unfortunate. The hotel should have kept the great breakfast and forgotten about the dinner idea. The hotel should also consider getting a better decorator. Well, at least the city of Copenhagen has changed for the better over the years...

Room was small but clean and comfortable. Wireless internet worked fine, and computer in lobby also worked fine. Breakfast buffet was tasty, and dinner buffet really helped our budget. A fine touch we especially appreciated: Our son, still on US time, became hungry after midnight, and the desk clerk fetched a sandwich for him from the kitchen.

stayed her for two nights with a couple of friends. First we got a very small room, not cleaned bathroom and terrible uncleaned carpet. We changed room and actually payed a small amount x-ra to get a svit. This room was better, bigger , but yet not cleaned. For exampel i found a pair of socks under my bed, and it wasn´t ours.... Our friend got pillows in their bed - smelling like not cleaned in years!!!
So - rooms likely a 2-star hotel NOT A 4-STAR!!!
Breakfast ok. buffé in evening not very inviting.

Stayed 5 nights at the hotel. Great location, but the hotel does not live up to the usual standard of Choice Clarion Collection. Room: worn and outdated, wallpaint lacking here and there, dirty windows and carpet. Only one type of soap in the bathroom. Food:Very little choice of breakfast which was late, should begin 0630, but the warm food seldom came before 0700. A nice touch was free evening buffet (also very little choice). I was shocked when the cook came during an evening buffet and grabbed a lot of food for himself with his bare hands (just grabbed sausages, salats etc!). Nothing to do in the hotel, no spa and no sauna. Free wireless broadband internet (whic really was "slowband"). Service: Lousy and unfriendly (especially the guys). Total: Big disappointment, stay away.
