Lots of stairs, two small elevators BOTH of which were being used by service staff when our family arrived, leaving us standing and waiting for over 10 minutes to get our luggage up to our room. And no, there is no porter or doorman and there are two flights of stairs to enter from the street, so we carried our own luggage.
We are traveling with our teenaged kids and asked for rooms close together. We got 238 and 239. That sounded good until we discovered that these rooms are in different wings on the same floor but separated by - you guessed it - three short flights of stairs.
Had I not had a broken ankle I may have been less incensed by all this but stairs and casts are a poor mix. So if you have limited mobility or a child in a stroller, good luck to you. My recommendation: find another hotel.
Also, rooms are small even by European standards. Bathroom is tiny, beautifully appointed in marble but smells mildewy. Will not choose this hotel again.
