There were 3 of us in the room; one on a roll-away. All three beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast; free coffee and tea in late afternoon, free internet access. It was very close to the "walking street" (shopping area) and to other sites. It was quiet and we found some good places to eat in the neighborhood. Staff was very helpful.
A fine place to stay.

I stayed at the Christian IV for two nights on business, and found that it was extremely good value. Copenhagen is an expensive city, so it was great to find somewhere so friendly and comfortable at a very reasonable price.

The staff were very helpful, and there was free wireless internet access available which was a huge plus. The room was fine - very small but had all I needed - although the only negative was that the door wasn't particularly secure. It had a normal key lock, not a Yale or an internal bolt. I felt safe, but wasn't keen to leave valuables in my room during the day.

There was a good breakfast, and in the afternoon they provide complementary hot drinks and pastries.

The hotel has an excellent location, five minutes' walk from Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn.

A bit of pot luck with picking this one, we had a group of 10 including 2 young children. Turned out well though. An unassuming hotel, staff pleasant, excellent continental breakfast (even by the standards of a fry up man like myself). Rooms were comfortable, if basic, with beds very soft and several mentioned they had the best sleep theyd had in ages (though couldve been more to do with the miles we walked each day). Well located for all but Tivoli and the station which is a good 1.5 mile walk through the main shopping street, or about 8 quid in a cab, so not that bad really.
Very close to Nyhavn which is a lovely street full of life , bars and restaurants, and the shopping of Stroget. Seemed the more cultural end too. Overall no complaints, and for the price a very amicable place.

I stayed here on my first trip to Copenhagen, in winter!! Very cosy atmosphere, friendly and clean hotel.
Also nice part of town, quiet and away from the 'rush' of Copenhagen.
Definitively recommend this hotel to anyone travelling trough for a few days
