Excellent breakfast buffet and rooms rather comfortable (though I don't like moquette, since I'm allergic to dust).
Bathroom quite good though not as clean as I like.
The real problem is on staff incompetency to solve a simple problem: they did an error in assigning the room and after one night we were assigned to another one. In doing so we forgot some clothes in the old room. Well, in 4 days nobody was able to find our clothes.

Stayed 3 nights in December 2006. Friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast (eat all you can), great location, room ok BUT bathroom was on the down side, especially the toilet, need a good brush/bleach. If you are particular about bathroom cleanliness, then you will be disappointed.
Well, overall it was ok, there were more pros than cons...

Clean and comfortable but quite noisy. I wasn't paying so can't comment on value. They didn't have a secure room to put your luggage in which was a bit odd.

I think the previous review was for a different hotel as the Hotel City is in a great location! Just a couple minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in the Nyhaven area, but on a quiet side street.

Our room at the hotel was a relatively large room with 2 twins together to make a double bed- and the beds were very comfortable. It was clean and had an average size bathroom with shower only. The breakfast was filling and it was nice that it lasted until 10 each day (starting at 7 on weekdays) if you had enjoyed your previous night out! Again, has 2 computers with free internet access.
