As my previous stay in November, the Scandic Hvidovre was great. This time only had a Twin room but still great space and nice overall room. Scandic's breakfast's are great and a wide choice.

I will be using this hotel again when i go to Copenhagen again.

I stayed at this hotel in July, and found the staff professional and helpful. The room although a little small was clean, with a mini bar, ice for drinks were provided by units located in the corridor. The bathroom was of a reasonable size, containing shower gel and loads of towels, which were changed each day. Although the hotel is some distance from the centre (Tivoli Gardens etc) I found the transport service to be excellent, but a little expensive in comparison to British prices.

The hotel itself has a swimming pool, and sauna, as well as a games area, which is invaluable to while away a few hours, if travelling with children.

The breakfast which the hotel offers is varied, with cold meats, eggs, sausages, and a large selection of fruit and yoghurts, there is something on the menu to suit most taste buds.

Overall i enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially as most of the tv channels are in English! I will definately, stay in this hotel again, somewhere in the near future.

We recently returned from a trip to Denmark.
As Hilton honors members we booked our stay at the Scandic Hvidovre because is a hotel in the Hilton chain.
In our opinion the hotel was rundown and outdated and in need of major renovations. Not what we have come to expect from a Hilton hotel.
The hotel has a 3 star rating and has a room rate of aprox $150 per night. In my opinion this hotel should no longer be listed as a 3 star. I believe a 1 star is more appropriate in it's present condition.

I have stayed at a number of Scandic hotels both in Sweden and in Denmark. Normally the Hotels are nice, and that is also the reason why I picked Hvidovre for my stay in Copenhagen. I have also traveled round the world and stayed both at Hostels and Hotels of varying standard. Hvidovre is by far my worst experience.

My stay was in the middle of the summer and because the hotel lacks AC it was impossible get any sleep. The temperature rarely got under 40 degrees Celsius. It was also impossible to get any draught so when the outside temperature got down to 20 degrees during the nights the inside temperature stayed constant even with the windows wide open. A problem with the open windows was that the hotel is situated just some 50 metres from a motorway with heavy traffic all night. I had payed my stay - four days! - in advance and Scandic refused to refund me or to change my booking to another hotel. From the beginning they even refused to provide me with a fan, but when I had pestered them they finally gave me a small heater (!) with a worthless fan. Some of the guests at the hotel left their doors open all night just to get some draught but i didn't dare to do so.

My room was fairly small. When I checked in the glass in the bathroom was not washed up after the previous guest. I am also unsure of the duvet cover. The shower was leeking so after a minute of showering (which was necessary a couple of times every night because of the warmth) the floor in the bathroom was covered with water.

At the breakfast at least two of the tables were litteraly covered with small black ants.
