My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Copenhagen Crown. We booked through Easyjet and because I was so cheap I had some concerns how good it would be. The Copenhagen Crown was above our expectations! It is easy to find despite my poor navigation and is 5-10 min walk to the main station and Tivoli. The rooms were actually quite big and we had a large double bed! The rooms were always warm and being set back form the road there was no traffic noise at all. Being an old building made the rooms bigger but the floorboards are creaky in the corridors and sometimes it felt like people were walking past your bed but it didn't keep us awake!
Breakfast was lovely and with a buffet style you can eat as much as you like. Not being a breakfast person I was able to take yoghurt and a pastry with me to eat a bit later! Other half however definately ate his fill of the breads, pastries and meats and cheese. Fresh juice and lots of coffee and we were ready for the day!
Copenhagen is beautiful and a quiet city in winter. The transport is brilliantly easy. We managed to get a train all the way up the coast to Helsingor on our CPN Cards. We even took the train to Malmo for about £20, Sweden was VERY cold but good for shopping!! Everyone is helpful and willing to point us bewildered Brits in the right direction and being cold, it's nice to make the most of the cake and coffee shops to warm up!
Save your pennies though because everything is very expensive, especially food.
