We stayed at the Tiffany for 5 nights over two weekends in April
'07. Both rooms were bright, large, clean with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was enough to get the day started and actually, we rather liked the convenience of eating in our room while we got ready
to head out for the day. The location allowed us to walk to the train
station in less than 5 minutes to catch the direct airport train which was a huge advantage for morning flights. We also were within a
short walk of the city center. If we get to Copenhagen again, we'll stay at the Tiffany again.

After lots of research, I booked the Tiffany Hotel 6 months in advance, and got a great rate by doing that. The hotel was wonderful.
Our room was on the top floor, very bright, modern, and clean. The breakfast is a good way to start the day, but, after 6 days, a little
boring. The staff was extremely helpful. Got a great recommendation for a real Danish meal for out last night there...Klubben, off the Vesterbrogade, about a half mile from the hotel. The convenience of the hotel to the train station is a plus. Book this place. You can't go wrong.

My wife and I and our 3 year old daughter stayed at the Tiffany in late June, 2006, on our way to Spain (frequent flyer tickets -- don't ask). We found it basic and clean, very much as described by others here. The street below can be noisy on long summer nights and you can hear the fireworks from nearby Tivoli Gardens. But these are brief -- about a quarter of the show you might see at a baseball game.

The little sandwich shop next door is small but good (although not cheap -- nothing in Copenhagen is cheap) and a short walk in the opposite direction from the train station leads to some nice restaurants populated by locals.

But it's the proximity to the train station and Tivoli that makes this such a great place to stay. It's easy to get to and from the airport, and to other places in the city via subway, and many things are within walking distance.

Booked based on reviews and proximity to the central station. A good basic hotel, clean with very helpful and pleasant staff. No dining room, so breakfast is a couple of fresh rolls in a plastic bag hung on the door handle with orange juice and yogurt in the fridge. Best idea is to just have a piece of toast, then pop out for a proper breakfast. There are a few nice cafes just down the street away from the station.
Hotel Tiffany is less than 5 mins walk from the central station (assuming that you come out of the correct exit - the other end of the station from the Tivoli Gardens). The immediate neighbourhood loooks a bit scruffy, a few drunks hanging around at night. But one side faces out onto a private street - nice and quiet. The two, single beds were a bit soft.
Extremely good value for a clean, tidy hotel close to the city centre. We booked using DK Cheques - which are supposed to give a good discount, but are difficult to buy except at a tourist office in Denmark.
