Location of hotel, on Helgolandsgade three blocks from the main railway station, is very convenient. 15 minutes on foot or less, many attractions are within reach: Tivoli amusement park, city hall and square from which many buses run through the city and to suburbs, national museum, pedestrian stree "Strøget," Copenhagen city museum, Christiansborg Castle (Danish Parliament and site of most interesting archaelogical diggings), stock exchange, etc., etc. Since it is so close to the railway station, one can easily come from the airport on the train (20 minutes' ride), leave by Reventlowgade exit to the left, walk down Istedgade two blocks to Helgolandskade, turn right and go half block to reach hotel. Hotel is built around a nice courtyard where one can sit most pleasantly when weather is nice. Rooms are decent size for two people (but in Denmark as elsewhere in Europe small by US standards), bathroom with excellent shower, sink and toilet is spotless and gleaming, all making for a comfortable stay. During our three day stay we remarked how quiet it was. Free internet use in lounge where there is also coffee machine. Breakfast buffet is very good with choice of breads and rolls, pastries, cold cuts, several cheeses, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, also boiled eggs. Breakfast room is served by several friendly and alert persons and dishes are replenished frequently. Since we know Copenhagen very well, we do not have to rely on staff for touring advice, etc., but they seem very polite, interested and undoubtely well informed. We found this hotel on Best Western website and obtained room at 837 Danish kroner per night, breakfast included, which compared to other hotels and high prices in Denmark generally was an extremely good deal. We were very pleased and recommend this hotel.
