A clean and very comfortable hotel/guest house in a residential area south of Copenhagen city centre, close to the airport. The proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly, to the extent of going into the city to buy a new cot for our two year old immediately, when the cot they supplied was slightly broken.
The hotel does not supply lunch or dinner, but were happy for us to use their dining room and patio, and crockery and cutlery when we brought takeaways back to the hotel. The breakfasts were great, hot rolls straight from the oven, cereal and cold meats and cheese. There was free tea and coffee all day, and beer and soft drinks in an 'honesty fridge' for the evenings.
This is not a five star luxury hotel, but we were all absolutely bowled over by the welcome and service, and the rooms were very comfortable for the extremely reasonable price. The hotel is opposite a bank and supermarket, with four or five restaurants within a very short walk. A bus right into the city centre leaves from a bus stop outside the hotel, and the metro station is a fairly easy 1.5 mile walk. Unless you want to remortgage and stay right in the city centre, you couldn't possibly do better than this hotel.
