Stayed over Easter from Fri to Mon. The hotel is very well located and is within walking distance of most attractions with a metro stop less than a 5 minute walk away. The design and layout of the hotel is very nice, the room we took (superior) was small but adequate for a 3 night stay. Anymore and I think it may have proved otherwise. The storage would not allow any more than this short stay. The bathroom was also very nice but for some reason they have made the same mistake many hotels make. Lots of shiny new sinks and taps but where do I put my toothbrush, razor etc. No shelves next to the sink just the built in sink space that gets drenched every time you use the tap. Please hotels of the world. Bring your over night bag and then go in to the bathrooms and think where will I put my stuff! Laos in the shower, no where to put the shower gel, shampoo etc. On the floor, like so many other hotels, This really must be addressed. Its not conducive to having a good morning wake up having to bend down with water running and pick up one of the three Exact Same Plastic Bottles to find what you are looking for. Yes I have gone on a bit but it is so annoying to have something so basic omitted from what looked like an expensive refurb? I really liked the Tree In a bag and have written and asked where they were sourced. One issue I would like to bring to the attention of the managers is the service. I was not aware of the lack of service culture in Stockholm but for the most part the service ethos is not good in the restaurants we ate dinner, cafe's we had coffee and also in the Nobis. When we arrived the lady just looked up and there was a moment of waiting...I started we would like to check in please ....Nothing....Your Name.....I gave it.....Nothing.......Your key....Where are the lifts please....Just around here...That was it. No info on the hotel, when breakfast was, do you need a map, Nothing. Breakfast service. we had breakfast 3 mornings. 1 girl was pleasant! You arrive and your name and room number is taken. You can seat yourself was our first instruction...We seated ourselves and waited. 5 minutes no offer of coffee etc. The Head Waiter, (I assumed he was head as he seemed to be giving orders to the other staff) passed by our table and started setting up the table 2 away from us. I said. excuse me, Nothing, again excuse me, YES, could I have some coffee please? he came a few minutes later and poured coffee said NOTHING. No spoon with the cups, I got my own and ate my breakfast. 15 minutes later no offer of coffee re fill, the lady at the table next to me made the same comment. I called over one of the girls and asked for another cup. She returned and then was walking away and the lady next to me said Could I have cup also. This was the same each morning except the last where I asked the girl to please go to my table with some coffee as I was at the buffet. Its a real shame. This is the first impression of the hotel in the morning and it's not good enough. The room was not busy and there were at least 3-4 members of staff. If you have someone standing taking your name and room number then they have the time to bring you to your table and then send a member of staff to say, Good Morning, can I get you some tea or coffee?? 5 stars, one expects a smile and an offer of coffee in a 1 star. ALso for some reason we had a turn down service on Friday noght but that was it, I phone down as we hadn't brought water back to the room, we had a couple of bottles delivered by a member of staff who told us we could drink the water in the taps! If Nobis can get these rather easy issues fixed the Hotel would be perfect. I would consider staying here again. Stockholm is a lovely city and I would recommend a visit. For now leave you expectations of service at the airport and then you wont be put out by the lack thereof!
Stay in the Superior rooms (which are small) but the smaller rooms are tiny.

I am really very sorry that you felt our sevrice approach lacked both warmth and efficiency during breakfast hours. We do pride ourselves in being very personal and attentive and it's one of the key elements that we are most recognized for. Again, my apologies if we dropped the ball there, and if you would be kind enough to send me your postal address to the email below, I would like to send you a liltle something to make it up to you.
The tree bags are in fact from Authentics and are part of the Urban Garden series and called Plant Sac.
