I stayed one night with my two small kids. The lobby is very nice and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpfull.
There is a playroom in the restaurant/breakfast area and you can borrow kids movies from the front desk. I requested a crib and it was in very good condition.
There is a very generous free evening buffet and you can buy beer or wine if you want. The breakfast was also good.
It takes less than 20 minutes to walk to Stureplan and surrounding areas and there is also a bus stop nearby if you want to use public transport.

The bads:

We (5 of us) are on a business trip and staying at this hotel. We have 5 rooms in 4 different floors. Two of us have problem with the noisy water pipe in the bathroom. It gets quite annoying and most difficult to stand, especially in the morning. One room does not have carpet and another room does not have fridge. It's just weird that they don't have standardized in-room facilities. My box of tissue never got replaced after used up on the 1st day (which only have a few left at the first place). No iron in room which causes problem to business travelers.

The goods:

The room rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner, and complementary coffee/tea throughout the day. Free wireless internet access is also available and very easy to setup. Location of the hotel is not particularly near to major attraction, but easy enough to get there by bus or T-bana. Bus stop is just 2 minutes away and T-bana is about 4-5 minutes away.

In general:

If you're staying for 2-3 days for leisure, this hotel is not a bad choice. But if you're on a business trip for 2+ weeks like us, maybe find another hotel like we do.

I stayed at the "Tapto" (Tattoo in English) for 3 days in Sep 06 while on business. This was my first trip to Stockholm and found the front desk folks extremely helpful in figuring out what bus/subway to ride to go downtown, etc. My room was fine, it faced the street and unfortunately there is a major contruction project going on next door, so I heard a lot of trucks, etc passing by on the street below. The good thing is the Hotel is located in a residental neighborhood and this traffic will not be permanent.

The hotel has free Wi-FI, you have to get an access code from the front desk each day you want to use it.

The breakfast buffet was fine, I didn't eat at night at the restaurant.

Within a block of the hotel there is a grocery store and within 5 minutes, you can be at a subway station/bus stop which allows access to the excellent city transport system. I paid 20 Kronor (a little less than $3 US) for each trip downtown and had no problem.

My daily rate was about $145 US which was well within mycompany's per diem. Bottom line, nice place, very friendly employees and I would recommend it to business travelers.

Great hotel. Beautiful rooms and fantastic service. Even a evening buffet was included. Although not directly in the City Center, the hotel is located in a beautiful area on walking distance from the main attractions. Recommendable.
