We were blown away by this hotel. The service was impeccable, the restaurant is to die for and the rooms are perfect -- large, great bed, not noisy and great window curtains to keep out the midnight sun.

The hotel is right next to a park with great trails, it is easy to reach via bus or rental car from the airport and is reasonably close to the center of the city. There is even free parking just outside the hotel.

During the week the hotel is out of our budget, but the price is right for a weekend getaway.

This hotel is great, especially if you like running during a stayover. It is on the edge of a lake (actually, an inlet of the Baltic) that has a great 12 km running trail around it, almost all of
which is through parks. Rooms are extremely comfortable (get the two-level executive room for a real treat). A bountiful breakfast comes with the room. The hotel is only 100 m from the Haga stop on the airport bus.

This was the first time I had used ‘Trip Advisor’ after a recommendation about the site – well what a surprise as soon as we walked into the hotel we felt at home! The open wood fire, friendly & efficient staff, brilliant breakfast, idyllic location brought our first trip to Sweden to a wonderful beginning!
The hotel is a bus ride/taxi from the city however you can walk to the closest tube (5 Minutes – 180SEK for 10 -1 hour trips). I think the location is perfect for a break from city life but with the added benefit of having the entertainment & nightlife available!

My boyfriend and i have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Stockholm. It was our first time, and i cant wait to go back to a beautiful city, with friendly warm people that are always happy to help. The hotel itself overlooks the lake, which is beautiful, however, on the other side is a dual carraigeway....don't let this put you off! It made no difference at all, and was very quiet. We had a very spcaious room that had a lounge, full bathroom downstairs, and a bedroom and ensuite on a mezzanine floor. Breakfast was very relaxed buffett style, catering for most tastes. Dinner was very nice, you may wish to 'dress up' a bit, as most of the men were wearing ties. Waiting staff were superb, as were the reception staff and even the cleaners.
Transport from the airport by airport coach was very easy, and stopped just down the road from the hotel. Subways are easy, quick and clean, as was the ferry that took us to Skansen, well worth the trip if you have time. On the whole a fantastic trip made all the better by the whole stallmastaregarden experience!
