Usually we stay at the sister hotel around the corner but it was not available for our last visit so we chose this one. We had booked 2 single rooms. Rooms are quite small but comfortable. Lobby was always crowded and busy. No bar area to speak of just a few sofas. Very large Q for the one computer in the lobby with internet access.

Breakfast was fine. Food was good with a nice selection of hot and cold. Very large breakfast area on 2 levels and always busy. Because of its size it seemed very impersonal and seats were at a premium. Not exactly cozy!

The deal we had included the 'Stockholm Card' which is always useful no matter how many times you've been to the city! However, on this occasion they had run out of booklets which meant that first time visitors had no idea what the card entitled them to! I had to go around the corner to the other hotel and ask them for the booklet. Not very good service as this should have been done by the hotel.

Overall the hotel was fine though I prefer its sister above 'PUB'. Good location as its very close to the market square and tube. You could do worse!

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times this spring and like the hotel. Great location right in the center of everything.
Do make sure that if you get a taxi to the hotel, you get the correct Rica Hotel, there is another Rica Hotel just around the corner.

The only problem with this hotel is it's lack of security. My credit cards were stolen from inside my room, yes there is a safe, but I didn't use it. Shame on me.
On the previous stay I witnessed an American tourist chasing down a thief who took his wifes purse from the lobby.
A local guide also told me that she was robbed in the lobby last year. There are people wandering the hotel looking for opportunity and NO security.
Watch your bags closely, use the safes and keep your eyes on those around you and you should have a good stay-

This is a lovely hotel and quite a good deal with the Stockholm card option. In fact, the hotel is so convenient to many attractions that we never used the nearby subway, but walked everywhere. The standard double room is quite large enough for two people, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and particularly enjoyable in the lovely Winter Garden. The staff was very helpful, although they could use another person during prime checkin and checkout times because the lobby gets crowded and the lines start to build.

I stayed in a Business Queen room, and it was clean and fresh. It felt that it was recently renovated.

The Business Queen room was tiny and warm; the air condition did not seem to be working efficiently.

The bathroom was small but very nice. It was good water pressure in the shower.

The location was perfect, the staff was very nice, and the breakfast was fine.

The hotel had two elevators and they worked fine.

Rica Hotel Stockholm was very fresh, clean, and in a perfect location, the next time I go to Stockholm I would not mind staying at this hotel again, even if the rooms are tiny.
