The Bentleys in Stockholm is a great place to choose if you are into Stockholm shopping and enjoying the Stockholm nightlife. We stayed for 3 nights (Saturday-Tuesday) in August, and could not fault it. The double room was quite big, and a great bargain at approx $ 100 per night ( we 800 SEK). For anyone travelling in Scandinavian captials, this is a great bargain. Then you have more money for shopping, eating at Stockholm restaurants and take a few beers.
The location is very good, right on the main shooping pedistrian street Drottninggatan. It's 5-6 minutes to walk down to Sergel's Torg (The Sergel Square) which is the centre of Stockholm. It takes 10-12 minutes to walk to the Central Station, where trains and buses leaves for the airport. (Choose the airport buses, instead of the train! Half the price, and only 40 minutes).
The hotel offer a free internet service, and the one computer was hardly occupied during my stay. Great for us who like to check e-mails and read the news on the web!
The breakfast was standard Scandinavian and included in the price, and is a good start of the day. Foreigners who don't understand Swedish might be disappointed by the TV channels, however Scandinavian TV send lots of English speaking films, series, talkshows like Letterman/Leno, and the best thing that it is never dubbed (only with Swedish subtitles). Who are in Stockholm to watch tv anyways??
Ask for room 303 if booking, I can assure any budget travellers that they
won't be disappointed. The bathroom facilities in that room is also above average.
