This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to all major attractions in Stockholm. It's close to a metro station, however we did not even use it once, as you can get anywhere by foot.
It seems that Kom hotel recently became part of the Best Western chain. It doesn't live up to the Best Western standards!! Not sure how they gave it 3 stars. The room, and especially the bathroom, feels old and worn. The towels are clean, but old. The bathroom lacks all basic toiletry items, such as soap bar, shower cap, .. There's a gel that serves as hand soap, shampoo and bath soap. There's no bathtub, but a shower. The hotel staff cannot do more than point at the 7-eleven around the corner when asked for anything.
The bed is very comfortable. The flat screen TV is very good, however the choice of channels is relatively limited. Breakfast is generous with a good variety of choices.
For the price we paid, we were expecting a real 3-star hotel. However, it seems that hotels are expensive in Sweden and you can't get much better for a reasonable price.

Friendly staff met us in a small, but cosy, reception. The room was spacious and very quiet facing the back yard. Well furnished, the absolutely best beds ever, minibar, sofa, large closets, and a small, but functional bathroom. The security in the hotel was very high, as you had to use your keycard even to get into the corridors.
Breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated just a few blocks from the center of Stockholm in a rather quiet area. About 200 meters to the nearest subway, but it took only about ten minutes to walk down-town. Absolutely a good place to stay in Stockholm - and also reasonably priced.

Many hotels show pictures that are very deseptive. That isn't true of the Hotel Kom. The hotel was just as nice as they advertised. It was definitely a great place to stay. Rooms were big and very well laid out. The atmosphere was nice. And above all, it was very clean. It wasn't in the middle of all the attractions, but it was just a few blocks from the metro...and by metro it took no longer than 10 minutes to get anywhere we wanted. The price for this hotel is more than fair, especially for how most hotels are priced in Stockholm. They don't have a concierge. But the staff at the front desk certainly try to help you as much as possible.

Nice hotel in center city at decent prices.
Clean rooms without luxury but a littkle more than functionnal and clean. Bathrooms (only shower in our room) are large and well furnished.
No air conditionning (however not necessary).

Very nice sauna, good breakfast.

Sevice was efficient and nice. Very central location at 10min walk from sture plan.
