I booked this hostel at hostelbookers.com at the rate of GBP17.46. Compared to all the hostels and hotels in Sweden, the price is very reasonable. The female bathroom of this hotel is very clean. The receptionists are all very nice and friendly, like all the other Swedish people.

There are many computers with internet connection available, so staying connected to friends and family back home or working during your travel is not a problem.

The setting of this hostel is conducive to making friends from all over the world. It's great if you travel solo. There are cooking classes and trips organised for the residents.

On the whole, it is a great hostel. There are two things that disappointed me though:

1. On hostelbookers.com website (and hostelworld.com as well), they said that there would be FREE tour of neighbourhood including birthplace of Pippi Longstocking and Karlsson-on-the-Roof and FREE evening sauna. However, when I arrived I found out that the tour was not free and there was no sign of FREE sauna either.

2. Some toilets of this hostel are quite small and make one feel claustrophobic.

It's a very confortable place. While stayin there I had the chance to know a lot of people from different sides of the world. Backpackers (as the name suggests) is the perfect place for REAL tavellers. It offers a lot of services, it has a kitchen when you can cook whatever you want (Stockholm is the most expensive city I've ever been, so kitchen is a very good thing), internet, not too clean dormitories, and small toilets far from the rooms. Well, it's a good place to stay for few days.

Absolutely fabulous! First off, the location is really good because it's a short walk from the bus station and metro stop, and several attractions are nearby. Then the facilities are such a good value for the price: they've got washers and dryers, a full kitchen, clean showers and washrooms, newspapers, free pasta, free net on several computers, lockers in the dorms, a huge common room, tons of free tourist brochures and even a Swedish sauna! I loved the staff too because they knew so much about the city and were so helpful and friendly, plus they all were able to converse in different languages which helped guests immensely if their Swedish or English weren't that great. The setting makes it easy to meet people too. Highly recommended!

Great time - three of us stayed in a four bed room (with one other) - reasonable size.

Facilities excellent - free sauna for one hour for each sex (5-6 and 6-7) - available at other times for c25 kronors (I think).

They organise a superb trip to a lake and sauna - the viking spa experience. This is not to be missed. It was the highlight of my trip. The organisor is a charming lady. Left me completely buzzing and invigorated. Cost 150 Kronors for the morning. Great chance to interact with the locals too.

Superb location close to the centre and all central stockholm locations.

Warm rooms, hot showers. Very Clean.

Also Games/TV room with minature table tennis table - great fun.
