We spent 4 nights in the 6 person apartment that has a small kitchen and ensuite toilet and shower. The hostel is a nice facility in a great location. Our only complaint is with the front desk people that do not enforce the rules that are posted everywhere. Rules include: silence after 23:00 (11 pm) and no partying/drinking at the hostel (the posted signs recommend going to a local pub). Since there is no air-conditioning, you must open your windows at night. Our windows opened to a nice courtyard. Unfortunately, the courtyard is infested with loud, obnoxious, swearing, drinking people that have no respect for other people and rules. One night we were subjected to the loud screaming and swearing of a lovers' quarrel. The next night it was a large group of 15 drunks screaming and laughing. The front desk workers turn a blind eye to these people. There is no one at the front desk from 2 am until 8 am and this is when it is the worst. If you are a young backpacker who wants to go to Stockholm and drink and go crazy all night and sleep all day, then this would be a great place for you to stay. We have stayed at many hostels in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and have found the people to be interesting and well-traveled. This is the only hostel where we have experienced people like this. I would bet that this group never sees the inside of a museum or does anything unrelated to drinking cheap beer. If that is your thing, you will love it here. But for others, beware!
