The Hotel Hellsten is great! Modern, small and intimate, GREAT breakfast buffet. Our room looked in on a courtyard and was very quiet. Only 2 computers with internet access, but usually one was open. Bathrooms had heated towel bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend the Hotel Hellsten!

Stayed for 3 nights, a mixture of business and pleasure. It was a very pleasant stay in a hotel which is a little bit different. Very good location: quiet but within easy walk of the centre. There were quite a few useful shops and cafes / restaurants nearby.

My single room really was a single room and the bathroom was cosy to say the least. Still, Stockholm is incredibly expensive so I guess space is at a premium. It was all adequate and the room, although small, was done very nicely.

Breakfast was plentiful but not very varied. It was fine though.

It was generally a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business in April and very much enjoyed it. So much so I would stay here for a weekend break next time I get the chance to visit Stockholm [ worth doing as its a great city ]

If you are like me and stay in the usual business type hotels but want to try something different then consider this hotel. Different however does not mean poor service but I thought it was a stylish hotel and very friendly staff . Don't expect huge rooms though but I was Ok with mine and it would have been fine for two people for a weekend break/short stay

There is a gym in the basement ; free Internet ;and tea/coffee in the lobby too

Whilst its true its not in the absolute centre its a reasonable walk from the harbour and there is a underground station nearby. The central taxi office is next door too . I also felt that I was staying in a slightly more residential area than perhaps most business/city centre hotels which I also liked. There are a couple of good coffee bars next door -try the Espresso House

One tip - which is strange when you consider its next door to the taxi office- is to definitely have a hard copy of the hotel address for the cab drivers as most of them had never heard of the hotel.

So all told I really enjoyed it and recommend it

A very nice little hotel with modern rooms. Fabulous lobby with kind staff. The location is not at the main street, 10-15 min walk to Sergels torg.
Great breakfast; waffles!!
