In the middle of Gothenburg you stumble on this charming hotel. The oldest in town and it had kept its ambiance since 1850.

Attentive and nice personel who tend to all your needs. Perhaps best for couples on a get-away or friends in town for a shopping spree..
I will certainly come back!

Lovely staff and a gorgeous hotel. The hotel is very convenient and close to the train station.

We were upgraded and it was a lovely room. Every day you can have fika (coffee and cake) in the lobby and that is very nice and generous.

Do not hesitate booking this hotel - lovely in all aspects!

The hotel was a bit of a disappointment for me; doesn't help when asked if anyone can assist with bags your just told a straight 'no'! Sets the scene for just how far these guys are willing to go for the guest.

I'd happily bed down here if I was a business traveler who wanted somewhere basic but central to stay and you weren't fussed about the frills. When on vacation though I'm looking to be spoilt just a wee bit and I'm afraid its all strictly business at this hotel. Rooms were quite old fashioned and a bit depressing if I'm honest. All clean and well presented though so no worries on that front; breakfast was really tasty with a great choice.

As a one night stopover that wasn't bad value it does the job - that's about it though.

Room tip: If you are in a car, it is a bit tricky to locate so make sure you get your directions sorted well in advance. There is a car park 50 yards from the hotel.
