We had a pleasant stay in this great, relaxed and friendly hotel situated about 6 kilometres from Helsinki centre, in a fabulous leafy district with wooden houses.
It's well connected, if you're arriving from the airport the bus 615 will take you very close to the hotel (takes about 15 mins!) and you can get to town very easily by a tram or a bus. There's also plenty of parking around the hotel. But you also have some piece and quiet when you want to just chill out, great walks around the area and even a local karaoke bar nearby!
The hotel itself was pretty standard mid-price range establishment, but what really makes the place is the service you receive. Nothing is too much to ask, you get advice/help with some great conversation thrown in.
They also have a sauna and a swimming pool, but you do have to usually pay extra for the use of the sauna.
Breakfast was also great and the other thing I appreciated was the fact that eventhough we stayed over on a friday night, we slept with the windows open and had no noise problems from the streets below. Now that would not be possible if you were staying in the centre I am sure!
