If you are lucky enough to get in the new building then I think you will thoroughly enjoy your stay. The probelm is with the old building where the rooms are all shapes and sizes, mine I described as a cupboard. Room No. 1
has a double bed and a wardrobe. No drawers to take your clothes. The bathroom left a lot to be desired also. Told the manager it was only suitable for a male, who probably only brought one change of underwear! Not for a woman with 14 pair of knickers and the same amount of tops etc. I lived out of my suitacase for most of the first week until, though perseverence I got a change to another room.
On the plus side, the meals were excellent, what a cook they have! The staff were lovely, so courteous and helpful.
The situation of the hotel is also excellent, right in the middle of things, only 2 mins from the harbour. As I said, the hotel has character.
You have to accept that it is an old house converted, perhaps not to our standards but reasonable enough. Would I go back - YES!
