Staying at The Hideaway was filled with lazy chilled days in the sunshine surrounded by the best possible views. Looked after & pampered so well I almost felt like part of the family, it was like good old fashion personal service that some of the bigger hotels have lost. Accommodation was to a really good standard cute & really comfy. This place is a must if your visiting North Cyprus and looking for an idyllic environment, great service & yummy food. So good we didnt want or need to venture out but was only a short drive from the beach and harbour when we did. Roll on next year already thinking about going back.

I first stayed at the Hideaway Club in 2001. This was followed by stays in 2002, 2005 and 2007.

My last stay was from 7th August to 16th August last year. The Club has evolved through the years and has become more of a hideaway progressively. Hidden in the mountains of Kyrenia below the beautiful village of Karmi it is also within easy reach (5 minutes drive) of the bustling seaside road of Kyrenia.

It's position overlooking the sea towards Turkey is second to none. In the hot summer temperatures of Cyprus it benefits from cool Mediterreanan breezes which reach you at poolside sometimes carrying the smell of lemon scented geraniums planted around the grounds.

The indoor restaurant and breakfast area is an air-conditioned sanctuary in any weather and the roof terrace is a wonderful place to eat/drink especially in the cool of the evening. These areas are very clean and the food very good. The bar is extremely well stocked with a selection of spirits and liqueurs that you would struggle to find anywhere on the Island.

The staff are as friendly as the families that own and manage the place and you will never be looking around for service as attentiveness (without being intrusive) is their strong point.

The owners are London born and bred and for me this is very important as I know that all of my needs and wants can be catered for.

The Club has themed entertainment nights without disturbing guests trying to enjoy the serenity of the mountain air and can advise on restaurants and entertainment elsewhere too. This is because they tried everywhere themselves, and do so regularly!

Overall I would describe a stay at the Hideaway Club as a perfect escape resort while still being able to sample everything that Kyrenia and cyprus has to offer.

We stayed at the Hideaway Club in June, I cant fault it, the accommodation was excellent, especially the fantastic pool. The staff were very helpful and polite, we have never been to Turkish Cyprus before, but will definitely go back to the Hideaway...Loved it.

We stayed here in a wonderful sea view suite. Everything was delightfully put together and we had everything we could want. It was spotlessly clean.

The owners and staff were amazing! It's very easy to see why people return to the Hideaway year after year. There were many "regulars" the week we were there.
The service was excellent with everyone so friendly and eager to please. Nothing was too much trouble. Also as I am a vegetarian, despite the country serving a lot of meat, at the Hideaway I did not have to rely on mezes, there were other thoughtful dishes to keep me from getting bored with some great takes on meat dishes. You have to try the "Hellim Iskender". Gorgeous!
