we have just returned from bella view after 2 wks we had our wedding there and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had the most perfect day and we did, nothing was too much trouble food everything fantastic one of the best hotels we've stayed in.
can't thank the staff enough for everthing they did. the whole 2 wks was just perfect perfect perfect!

Just perfect for what we were looking for, small boutique hotel with no children under 16, superb food and service, unique and striking decor with great views of the sea and mountains. We were not disappointed in any way although there were only six couples staying in the hotel, this made it feel even more like our private villa.

The rooms and hotel had an Edwardian/Victorian style to them which may not be to everyones taste but guests who visited from other hotels were very impressed. We noticed people returning on several ocassions from the adjoining Bellapais Monastry hotel to the restaurant and commenting on the quality of the food, the presentation and the service from the staff. Prices were very similar to Kyrenia Harbour restaurants and the Kybele in Bellapais but the standard in Bella View was higher. Rooms were very clean with the staff being very thorough in their duties.

The pool area is very spacious and the pool fine for just cooling down, not suitable for serious swimmers, the area around the pool is being retiled so it will look even better.

Negatives, none really but it is a pity that there is a small football stadium in front of the hotel and the new stand spoils the outlook, I believe it is being lowered to overcome this issue. Cost of a taxi to Kyrenia at 10-14 turkish lire each way is high given the distance, better to hire a small car at £20 per day. Not great for walking unless you are fit, we walked to Bellapais and enjoyed it, Kyrenia is too far and not all that pleasant a walk.

We were a bit disapponted in the weather but we just toured more of the island, since our last visit to Northern Cyprus prices have jumped but still good value for money.

We are seriously considering going back to this hotel in October.

Just returned from 10 day visit to above Hotel. Absolutely delightful. Superb room overlooking pool and sea. Admittedly it was the 'end of season' and hotel not full, but all the better for that. Food, decor, and pool excellent.

However, what really made our stay extra special, was the quality of the staff. They were extremely efficient, helpful and pleasant.

A great place to relax and chill out, with the harbour of Kyrenia just a 10 minute drive away. We also managed to get 4 rounds of golf in at the newly opened Course at Korenium (20 mins. drive) - quite spectacular !

we stayed here in September and whilst there are a few teething problems with the hotel as it is new, overall we really enjoyed our stay. The pool and terrace area is lovely, with sunbeds and big comfy couches, in the evening you can eat outside by the pool.
The inside dining area was'nt so good though with little atmosphere and unfortunately the service was quite erratic but the staff fall over themselves to try their best and help you and are very friendly and helpful so this made up for the lack of service and average food.
The local village of Bellapais is about a 15 minute walk and is lovely with a beautiful abbey and quite a few restaurants. The downside is that Kyrenia is too far to walk and the hotel, although they had a minibus, were not using it to transport clients to the town even though the hotel next door was. This meant that either you had to hire a car, which most people seemed to do including ourselves, or get a cab all the time. The rooms were rather dark as was the corridor upstairs, but they were very nicely furnished, although we felt the bathrooms certainly in our room let it down as it was very small and the toilet did'nt work properly even though the plumber came to mend it! Overall we had a lovely stay as the staff made up for all the minor problems and we hope to visit again next year by which time hopefully the teething problems will be sorted out.
