going down track to reach hotel caused concern about what we would find. Concern was needless.
We were greeted by very friendly female at reception who showed
us to room 213. Room was very good although shower room a little outdated but the view more than compensated for it. Swimming pool set in smashing gardens with sea just beyond creating a fantastic setting for a relaxing holiday. Staff were all friendly & attentive and could not be faulted. Special thanks to the waiter who was serving from breakfast till midnight ( not sure if he ever slept) in such a calm unintrusive way looking after everyones needs. We had a brilliant week at TopSet & would recommend it without hesitation. Thanks from room 213 9-16 July

I have just returned from a brilliant holiday at this lovely small family run hotel. The owner, his family and the staff could not do enough for the guests and everyone one was made to feel special. The rooms and the communial areas were very clean and the rooms were very homely, the gardens were absolutely beautiful and the fruit and vegetables on the menu were all home grown. The hotel is located in a village 3km west of Kyrenia and it is really easy to get into Kyrenia and surrounding areas. The reception staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We hired a car and one morning got up really early to drive out onto the Karpaz peninsular. This would have involved missing breakfast. However, when they found out we were starting out early, they arranged for us to have this before we left. On the morning we left to come home at 4.30am, we were also offered breakfast. As I said nothing was too much trouble. I have never been to a hotel where the owner appears everyday at breakfast going round to each table asking how everyone was. Also he was always available during the day. Again he came round when the guests were having their evening meal to check all was ok. If you want a truly relaxing hotel in beautiful surrounds make sure you book a holiday at this charming hotel.

my husband & i have just returned from our 4th visit to northern cyprus and the Topset Hotel and as always had a warm & welcoming holiday, warm in temperature & hospitality. The hotel is family run and the owner Hassan and his family are proud of their establishment at which you can always be sure of a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean with towels changed every day if you wish. The pool area is very relaxing and set in pretty gardens which then lead off onto the outside restaurant and bar area which are set right by the sea and the small man made beach with steps leading into the sea, which although it is a little rocky is very shallow and safe for swimming ( a pair of jelly shoes are a good idea). We stayed on bed & breakfast basis , which is the usual continental type, dinner is also available and although it is a set menu, the food is good and plentiful - 4 courses. Topset is also ideally situated for exploring this area of Cyprus, being only a few minutes drive from Girne (Kyrenia) and about 1 hr from Famagusta with many places of interest between. There are also a large number of excellent restaurants within walking distance . Overall this is the area and hotel to visit if you want to rediscover the med as it used to be , if you just want to relax and unwind or if you are more adventurous and want to explore

Topset was the perfect family hotel, the grounds were perfect for my one year old, each room had a lawn area outside where she could play and the restaurant staff both in the hotel and by the pool were fantastically good helping me carry her highchair and even carrying her if need be. The main pool was large and clean but the real bonus was the big kids pool and fountain. Our room was large and clean and requests for extra towels and extra cleaning were accomodated immediately. Security was also excellent and we could safely leave our bags and buggies whereever and whenever we liked and the staff were happy to watch them. Well done Topset.
