This was my first holiday abroad with my boyfriend, and what a holiday it was! We arrived in the middle of the night and I was tired from the trip and upset because there was no fountain outside(all the other hotels where our coach had stopped had had fountains outside!). When I woke up I was gobsmacked, breakfast is served in a lovely marble floored dining area but there is also a canopied area right by the pool where we ate every morning. The pool itself is set in a beautiful garden with tropical foliage. We had no problem getting a sunlounger as long as we were there by about 10am but most people have afternoon naps before their evening meal so it was pretty empty then too. There is also another kidney shaped pool next to the apartments (a 60 second walk). There is a small beach hut bar here where we went for cocktails most nights as it was very quiet and lovely with the pool all lit up. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us, they were polite eager and friendly. You can tell it is a family run hotel. The location of the Paphos Gardens is also superb, you literally walk out the front door and you are on a street of restaurants. Its about a 10 minute walk to the beach front and also bar street. We went to the archeological site which was interesting but not a good idea to be there at midday as it gets really hot!! Our room at the hotel was clean, airy and we had our own balcony with a view of a grove of palm trees. I would definately come back to this hotel, I loved it!
