Myself and 3 other girl friends all of us sensible 21 year olds chose Coral Bay for its laid back atmosphere. We were very pleased with our stay at the Aqua Sol, it was just at the start of the season so the place was not fully occupied so we had no problems getting sun loungers, the pools and apartments are set out beautifully and have a lovely panoramic view of the coast line, not so much a beach but we still appreciated the scene.

Unfortunatly i cannot comment on the evening entertainment as we prefered to venture out, but i would like to add that there are some lovely resturants and nice cocktail bars along the main strip and if you are interested there is also a very small but pleasent nightclub called the starlight disco which opens at 12.30am until late.

The Aqua sol has potential to be 4 star but not as of yet, only minor things set it back such as the pools were set out nicely but they were never cleaned which was a let down as the water just felt and looked greasy and there was some repair work which needed attention such as broken parasols and the outdoor showers. I also found the pool bar to be a little pricey as we were staying self catering but as i said only minor things.

...and the walk to the main strip is up a hill which would make it difficult for people with disabilities but for four 21 years old it didn't matter to us at all.

All in all we loved our stay at the Aqua Sol Village and at Coral Bay i would certainly return.

me and my mum have returned from a week at the aqua sol village, and i must say i enjoyed every bit of it.
the rooms where very clean and big! i was a minute away from the pool and straight ahead of me was the sea view which was amazing the reception was very helpful with showing you around.
the food was good but we ate out most evenings, the hill is hard to walk up due the heat but lovely to walk dwn of a night time again with the view of the sea the entertainment was good for the children and also adults............MARIO is such a lovely guy he had all kids and adults laughing none stop especially when playing bingo, MARIO loves number 4......lol if he was not there i would have gone out but every evening he made different and enjoyable GO MARIO!!!!.... i would definitly go back just to see him,am planning my nxt holiday there as i speak. excellent for adults/children/elderly or those that want a place to get away and relax. tho i would say just double check all doors are locked before going out! im excited and cannot wait to return back there.

Just spent a week at Aquasol Village, it's a basic resort that does not deserve a four star rating, I'd say a pretty average three star. Apartments are spacious but could really do with some updating. Thankfully they have airconditioning, which is a must in the Cyprus heat. Facilities at the hotel, i.e. bar, pool area, etc could also do with some updating. Staff are helpful and dealt with any issues immediently,(first night had problem with air con which was sorted out straight away). Entertainment is terrible, no harm to Mario but the evening entertainment gave us a reason to head out in the evening. Coral Bay is a quiet resort with nice restaurents but not much else. Be warned Cyprus is not a cheap holiday, eating out and alcohol is pricey.

I have just got back from the Aqua Sol village hotel at Coral Bay, which has wonderful views of the sea, and had a wonderful happy holiday with my partner and little girl . After reading the reviews on here I must say I was very dubious about the hotel. But thankfully it was a lovely resort and we had no major problems. We stayed for 2 weeks all inclusive, which I really recommend, as Cyprus is very expensive. Drinks start at 3 Euro so the costs soon mount up. The evening meals were average, but the lunches were excellent, as you could choose from the snack menu at the pool side bar, and had a choice of about 20 dishes.,, and they also catered for children, you could have cheese toasties, Greek salads, chicken kebabs etc. The entertainment by Mario was great and he was such a lovely happy person and my daughter loved him, he made us very welcome and kept us entertained every evening. The hotel is down a hill so the walk up is quite hard in the heat, but its not as bad as people have said, just walk slowly!!! its about 10 mins to walk to the restaurants and bars of Coral Bay. I recommend the La Vigna restaurant, very nice Italian food. The rooms are very spacious and clean but basic, Bathrooms again clean and basic. We had cleaners in every day which was great, as you always came back to clean room. You will have a great holiday here and don't be put of by the other reviews, and have a great holiday.
