We stayed at the Chalet Casale for a week at the end of December (inc New Year) and although the weather could have been a little more generous, we had our best snowboarding holiday to date.
The Chalet is about a five minute walk to the lifts, with numerous bars and shops en route. The rooms were very pleasant and kept clean and tidy. Each morning the staff provided us with eggs, toast, cereals, croissants, meats and cheese, fresh juice and coffee.
Of an evening, large bowls/trays of food were handed to the groups and each person could help themselves to healthy sized portions, which could be swilled down with the complimentary wine.
We were all a little apprehensive on the first night about the set-up, but it was a great way to start the evening and the food was excellent.
The Chalet staff can arrange activities for you on-site, which we did. We took part in the El Tarter by Night and the New Year's Day Husky Sledding. Although the El Tarter by Night was good fun, it didn't last very long and probably isn't worth the money. It is nice to say we've tried the Husky Sledding but again, I don't think it was worth the money.
The main plus point about Chalet Casale is most definitely the staff. They were incredible helpful and friend throughout our stay.
I'm sure that we will return to Andorra at some point and would most certainly be happy to stay here again.
