I stayed 8 nights in this hotel for the second time (first time 3 years ago, shortly after the hotel opened). The hotel and the service are fine, but the problems I already mentioned 3 years ago got worse:
- There is not enough space around the pools. During the week the hotel was far from full, and then it's fine, but over the weekend it was impossible to find a poolbed although the staff do their best to cramp as many poolbeds as possible into the limited space. Unworthy for a hotel of this class; the developers must have been totally incompetent to design a 300+ room hotel with a pool area for -at best- 100 guests. I therefore do NOT recommend this hotel in high season or on weekends.
- The food quality is far below the standard one would expect for the prices charged, except maybe the breakfast. Few people actually eat at the hotel, and one can understand why.

Finally, this is the only 5 star hotel I know which charges 10 EUR for one hour of internet connection. A complete rip-off.

If travelling to Monaco this is a modern and luxurious hotel, especially during the summer I would definately recommend staying here to use the swimming pools, I was here in April and able to use the indoor and heated outdoor pool, there is also another large unheated pool for the summer. Good location 10 mins easy walk to Casino square along the waterfront, less than 5 mins walk to Monte Carlo Country Club, perfect as I was here for the Masters tennis tournament. Rooms are much more spacious than many other Monaco hotels, all have balconies with table and chairs, most with sea or partial sea views. Convenient to have iron & ironing board and kettle for making drinks in the room. Taxi from Nice airport cost 90 euros.

We stayed at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel for a week in March and were very pleased with the hotel. The views and rooms are beautiful and could not have asked for a better hotel in Monaco. I felt that resort was out of the way from the town, so a taxi was definitely required daily. The food was good and the staff was very helpful. Definitely would recommend.

I don't like Montecarlo as destination, but I was attending a birthday party. I booked at this property, and I was impressed at first sight. Stunning hotel with plenty of helpful staff. The room is huge with a 42" flat TV and very nice bathroom. The decoration is modern/simple style, but well engineered. It take time to learn how to switch all the lights, but is ok. The swimming pool is great and so is the spa rea. The only negative side is that everything is very expensive inside the resort and you have to be prepared. Across the garden there is the famous Jimmi's club where we had a great party. The Casino and shopping area are not walking distance from the hotel. There is also a nice music bar at the lobby level with a great terrace overlooking the beach
