Easy access to the tram line to travel throughout the City.
Local cafes and bars close but not noisy.
No resturant in the hotel but the breakfast dining room is comfortable and the foods are varied and plentiful.
Very quiet in the hotel due to it being an old building and thick walls.
There was an electric fan provided in my room that I was grateful for.

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting son at University.
Room was huge and comfortable. No problems when asked for extra pillows.
Slight downside was no tea/coffee making in room + coffee machine downstairs not working. - soon adjusted to this though and waited for coffee and tea at breakfast, during day there was a coffee bar a few steps away(also opened early morning) and evenings stuck to alcoholic beverages.
Reception staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable - plenty of choice at buffet breakfast.
Location of hotel is ideal to visit sights,bars,restaurants etc
Offers excellent value for money as well - what more could you ask for

During Easter 2007,I spend the week-end ,me and my husband,in Mariahilf Hotel in Graz,after we made reservations on-line .
Because I never had a trip outside Romanian borders ,for me that one was really an beautiful adventure!
I was pleasantly surprised by an friedly personnel especially because I speak only english,and I really enjoy the breakfast – excellent- and the ambiance superb: big windows that overlooked the passage below.
The rooms are being renovated and the bathroom is quit big!
The Hotel location is verry close to the tram stop, from which you can go anywhere in the city.
It was verry nice to visit the Clocktower – where you can get a splendid overwiew of entire city. All the shops you could want are practically right outside your door,all you have to do is to visit them!
We strongly recommend Hotel Mariahilf if you want a nice ,clean and comfortable location in a quiet zone in the middle of the city!

We were planning on having a number of our wedding guests stay at the Mariahilf, but after we had some cancellations and we only needed 4 of the originally reserved 16 rooms I had the manager on the phone telling me in not the friendliest way that he has no more interest in my reservation if it is only 4 rooms. Not really the service you expect! We then cancelled all our rooms. I didn't want my friends and family visit Austria for the first time and think that this is what Austria is like!
