When I arrived by train from Vienna on May 25th, 2006, to meet up with my family who were already there, it took me a while to locate the hotel because of the way the buildings were numbered on the street. It is in a wonderful neighborhood, lots of shops and restaurants, and situated right beside the St Sebastian church and cemetary. The rooms seemed pleasant enough, bright and cheery, but the walls were thin and you could hear your neighbours. Especially when one in the floor below decided to play a waltz at about 5:30 in the morning. Another incovenience, which was reported but not corrected, was the bathroom door would not close shut! Because it couldn't close, you couldn't lock it, and with four of us sharing it we had to resort to hanging the Do Not Disturb sign on the doorknob when in use. Of course, at times this was forgotten which made for some amusing encounters. We also had problems with our cardkeys for our room, sometimes they didn't work and would have to get another one. The breakfast was included, and the food was good and the selection decent but, you had to wait a while for the hot coffee and milk to be refilled at the tables.
