We booked in here for four nights over Christmas. As there was only one review on Trip Advisor, we were a little concerned about what we would find. We were very pleasantly surprised, starting with the friendly greeting at 2am after a hellish flight from the UK which was diverted to Linz and then a 2 hour coach trip back to Salzburg - as you can imagine we were very tired by that stage. When we saw the room we were very pleased, as it was large, clean, and comfortable. Over the course of our stay we found the location to be handy to the old town (about 15 minute walk) but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The breakfast was awesome and the best we have seen in Europe. The staff were very helpful with every request, from printing emails to ordering taxis. The only small negatives were the pillows on the bed, which were far too thin for us and we had to fold them in half to make them useable - there are also no sheets, only a duvet cover to sleep under. But these are minor points, all in all a great experience and a hotel we would highly recommend and will stay in again.
