I even can not calculate how many times I have stayed at GRAND HOTEL VIENNA.
This October I visited my favourite hotel in Austrian capital once again and noted good new things like new carpets, ETRO cosmetics in suites. It is very good trend - very seldom the hotels can combine grand style with modern demands.
Front office is still the best one in Vienna.

A wonderful hotel located 500 feet from the opera house on the Ring. Everything is 5 star about this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, the room was large and comfortable and the public areas were elegant and refined. Definitely a good fit for an oil sheik who checked in as we were leaving!

We drove up to the hotel in a taxi. Our doors were opened for us, we received a wonderful welcome, our baggage was unloaded while I was led to the front desk. Vladislav K gave us a warm welcome.

Vladislav is a wonderful manager. The service at this hotel is the simply the best and (along with the Hotel Gardena Grodnerhof in Ortisei, Italy) the best we experienced in all of Europe.

Vladislav asked if he could show us the room. He gave us a tour of the hotel and an extensive tour of every amenity our room had to offer. He recommended a nice walk to acquaint ourselves with Vienna. He recommended two outstanding restaurants..(Plachutta's and Niky's (Restaurant Kuchl Masterei).

The hotel has a great location. The staff is "over-the-top" great!!

I would definitely (happily) stay at this hotel in the future.

Vladislav, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet during your holiday! I think the Grand Hotel Wien is fortunate to have him. This high level of service not only came from the front desk, but to the bell boys, the concierge, the piano player at the bar, even the cleaning people went out of their way to greet you with a smile and a good morning.

I highly recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Vienna.

Their hotel and especially their service from top to bottom is something the staff should be very proud of!!!

Your hotel is indeed "grand!!"

We stayed five nights and had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is quiet and elegant.
Breakfast was delicious and they offer al a carte versus the full buffet which was too heavy for us.
Service was excellent from the responsiveness of the front desk, informative concierges, and housekeeping which always responded rapidly for requests for extra towels, etc.
Great location and elegant rooms.
