The Park Inn is a great little hotel with easy access to the UN and the U1 u-bahn station to get into the city. Its clean, big rooms, friendly staff, super breakfast buffet, and free WiFi were the major pluses.

As an eco plus, they actually have a recycling program...one of few hotels I have stayed in that actually do this.

Overall, I really like the Park Inn (especially after bad experiences across the street at the NH Hotel..formerly Crowne Plaza).

There was a lot to like about this hotel, the room was clean and spacious and the food was good. It was also a good price.

For us, the location was very good because we were working in the area. But it was very easy to get into the centre by the train line which was cheap and efficient.

I will definately stay at this hotel again.

I booked two double rooms for my family of four through HotelTravel at 63 euros each. We stayed at the back building. Too quiet. One room overlooked on villas and gardens in the back.
Rooms are very spacious and sunny with new modern furniture. The windows have blinds and decorative curtains. Bathroom with tub - very clean. Free wireless internet in room.
In the hotel there is a small fitness room with sauna for free. Free underground garage. Cozy office corner with two desktop PCs and printer. Free cookies and coffee machine for 1 euro.
The price included a buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Cafeteria with snacks and a TV for watching football.
Service and staff are typical of the high austrian standards.
The hotel is 100m opposite to the U-bahn station. 6 stops to Stephansplatz, two stops to Donauzentrum, a large complex with shops, restaurants and cinemas. Easy access to the tangent motorway. Billa supermarket is just opposite.
Overall, an excellent hotel with a tremendous value for the price we paid.

The Park Inn is one of two hotels suggested as convenient for an IAEA meeting at the Austria Center. It is across the street from the Crown Plaza. Both are very convenient to the UN complex and the subway into the city center. Various booking sites describe the Park Inn as a 2, 3, or 4 star -- I would rate it a 3. Also, different sites quoted different amenities -- if there's an amenity shown on a site that's important to you, better confirm it directly with the hotel.

I booked on Otels.com for $81/nite during a period other sites were quoting double or sold out. But my apprehension proved unfounded -- the reservation was transmitted and priced as quoted. Presenting a GoldPoints number resulted in significant room upgrade. It was an unusually large room by Euro standards, but with furnishings typical to American 2stars. The front desk staff, most of whom spoke English well, were very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast was very good with a broad selection of breads, fruits, yogurts, nuts, etc. Much better than typical American 2star buffets. The free wireless internet was a little tricky to use, but worked well.

Overall, a very pleasant stay with no complaints.
